Discover

My process starts with people, not mood boards. Whether that means thirty-six interviews across three Colombian cities for a wellness platform, five days in the field with local guides on San Andrés, or a survey and workshops with five-year-olds, the brief gets rewritten by what the research actually turns up, not by what I assumed going in.

Define

From there the work becomes systems, not single objects. A packaging line has to hold across four formats and five SKUs. An identity has to survive a school's uniforms, newsletters, and signage for ten years. A campaign has to feel coherent across fifteen countries and dozens of independent partners. I build the shared rule, whether it's a sign, a grid, a palette, or a content calendar, before I let it multiply.

Prototype

I prototype with my hands as much as with a mouse, from hand-cut storyboards before a browser build, to mockups pinned to a t-shirt before a client signs off, to cut paper before vector art. And when a project is personal or academic rather than commercial, I say so plainly. Some of my favorite work here has no usage metrics attached, because the win was shipping it, not growing it.

Deliver

I also work well inside constraints I didn't set, whether that's a lost technical lead, a fixed opening date, or a ten-person team spanning four disciplines. Rigor keeps a project honest. Craft is what makes people want to stop and read it.
